Shining A Lime Green Light on Mental Health

On May 6th California cities came together to shine a light on mental health awareness. Riverside, Indio, San Francisco and Alameda, all joined Each Mind Matters in expressing  support for May is Mental Health Matters Month by lighting up key city buildings in lime green.

San Francisco and Alameda both lit up their city halls, while Riverside County expressed their support by lighting up their County Administrative Center in Riverside and its Workforce Development Center in Indio.

Becoming bright spots of support, the light these cities gave to mental health awareness helps show our communities, friends, families and loved ones they are not alone. Riverside and Indio will continue to illuminate the night sky in support of mental health through the end of May. Other cities who could not participate due to COVID-19 restrictions, are still able to express their support by virtually illuminating their social media profiles with the May is Mental Health Matters Month social media Twibbon Frame

We thank all of the cities who participated and continue to participate virtually as we light the way to bring mental health awareness out of the dark across California!
