Register Now: 3rd Annual Tools for Change Conference
The Center for Dignity, Recovery, and Empowerment, a project of the Mental Health Association of San Francisco, is hosting its 3rd Annual Tools for Change Conference in San Francisco, Calif. on Nov. 6-7, 2015. Tools for Change is the world’s first conference focused on lived experience and culture change around mental health and mental illness.
This year, the conference will unite mental health experts, health technology leaders, providers, consumers, and community advocates in a collaborative and actionable learning environment to advance innovation in mental health and highlight the work and values of diverse leaders across sectors.
The featured keynote speaker will be CEO and co-founder of the Carson J. Spencer Foundation, Sally Spencer-Thomas. Sally is a mental health advocate, clinical psychologist, faculty member, and survivor of her brother’s suicide. She currently leads innovative suicide prevention initiatives including the Man Therapy campaign. Featured speakers will also include award-winning speaker, author, and mental health advocate Kevin Hines and Dr. Tracy Dennis, Director of the Emotion Regulation Lab at Hunter College who is a digital mental health leader and researcher with work in mobile mental health.
