Mental Health Awareness Week Oct. 4 – 10, 2015

Get involved in Mental Health Awareness Week October 4 – October 10, 2015! Thanks to NAMI’s efforts in 1990, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the U.S. Congress establishing the first full week in October is Mental Illness Awareness Week. Use the toolkit below to raise awareness about mental health and Each Mind Matters.

In addition to the toolkit, remember to order ribbons and Each Mind Matters materials from the shop!

The toolkit includes:

Post pictures from throughout the week on social media and mention Each Mind Matters in your comments (using #EachMindMatters) or send them to the Each Mind Matters team and get featured on our social media pages! Check our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see if you have been selected to be showcased!

To further raise awareness for the week, we encourage you to vocalize your support for mental health and Each Mind Matters with your local county board of supervisors. Everyone has a role to play in the movement. Share your story and inspire others to speak up in support.
