Announcing the 2019 Each Mind Matters School Mini-Grant Awards
We are excited to share this year’s Each Mind Matters’ School Mini-Grant awardees! This award gives schools the opportunity to build California’s Mental Health Movement by hosting a mental health awareness event during Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
This year we designed the Mental Health Awareness Event-in-a-Box, allowing schools to choose between two events and host the activity at their school. Their choices were to host either a Mental Health Movie Event, or Self-Care Scavenger Hunt. Over 250 applications were received from student-run clubs at elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and college campuses throughout California.
