Working Together to Achieve Mental Health Equity: Pressing Issues, Promising Approaches, and Next Steps

This annual symposium is jointly hosted by the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity, the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, Kaiser Permanente, and the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

This event regularly attracts over 400 attendees, including leadership of community-based organizations, city, county and state public health workers, healthcare providers, faculty and students.

This year, we will focus broadly on mental health and substance disorders and their relationship to health disparities in Los Angeles and surrounding communities. The day-long event will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Center at Cathedral Plaza (555 West Temple St) in Downtown Los Angeles. The agenda includes keynote-type presentations, panel discussions, interactive activities, optional working groups over the lunch hour, a poster session, and lots of time for networking. We host breakfast, lunch and parking for the attendees.
