San Mateo County Mental Health Resource and Art Fair
Be the One
Reach Out to Support Your Peers
1 in 4 people have a mental health condition, but less than half are getting the help they need.
Mental health is an essential component of overall health and well-being for all, and every person is impacted through their family and friends.
Sometimes people don’t get the help they need because of the stigma associated with mental health and substance use conditions and the fear of being labeled or discriminated against.
Join us to help stop stigma during May Mental Health Awareness Month. Learn how to support you and your peers’ mental wellness at this kickoff event where you can:
• Enjoy food and beverages
• Enter to win raffle prizes (including Amazon gift cards!)
• Participate in the “Be the One” photo booth
• Express yourself through playful art activities
• Connect with local resources
• Listen and share powerful stories
• And more!
Please register for free public event at: mentalhealthmonth2017.eventbrite.com
