Moving Miles for Minds

On Saturday, May 16th, 2015, Colusa County Behavioral Health will be hosting a community event, Moving Miles for Minds. The event is a 5k (3mile) run/walk event through Colusa. The goal is to bring awareness around mental health and reduce stigma and discrimination within our community. The event will occur at the Colusa Boy Scout Cabin (901 Parkhill Street, Colusa, CA 95932).

The race will begin at 10:00am, with registration starting at 8:30am. We will be having a featured speaker, Kevin Briggs at 12:30pm. The first 200 participants will receive a Each Mind Matters shopper bag, with water bottle, and lime green ribbons with take-home cards. There will also be a raffle, tickets can be purchased at the event for $1. If you purchase 5 or more tickets, you will receive a Free T-Shirt and Each Mind Matters wrist band.

If you are not interested in participating in the race, come cheer on others and learn about our community and ways you can reduce stigma around mental health!
