Moving Forward Together 2016: The Changing Culture of Behavioral Health Treatment

Moving Forward Together 2016 is a dynamic forum that fosters an active dialogue between clinicians/graduate school faculty/students and community agencies/state leaders. This year’s exiting and timely platform focuses on diversity, multiculturalism, and disparities & stigma.

The program will include presentations that inform participants about state initiatives and topics of relevance in California’s evolving systems of care, as well as opportunities for attendees to ask questions and actively participate in discussions to promote relevance in the program content for individuals.

The program will also consist of two panels and focus on “the real world” of community behavioral health from two perspectives: graduate stipend students recently placed in public settings; employers who represent community agencies.
