Mental Health from the Pulpit

You are invited to attend our second Mental Health from the Pulpit
event as well as help spread the word to communities of faith.

Our event will feature a panel discussion intended to empower faith
leaders to talk about suicide with their congregants, whether formally
in a sermon, or informally in counseling. The panel consists of Dr. Lisa
Lewis (Director, Kings County Behavioral Health), David Lopez (Director,
Central Valley Suicide Prevention Hotline), and Roger Watson (clinician
and pastor). Our moderator for the evening is Angel Galvez
(administrative specialist & Ethnic Services Manager for Tulare
County).

Mental Health from the Pulpit is a joint effort between King County
Behavioral Health and the Tulare & Kings Counties Suicide Prevention
Task Force.

This event is being held during National Suicide Prevention Week,
September 09-15, 2018.
