Chico Library Mental Health Presentation
This is one of a series of events scheduled to take place at the Chico Library during Mental Health Awareness Month.
The Butte County Department of Behavioral Health, The Butte county Library, and members of Butte County’s Care Enough To Act (CETA) Task Force are promoting Mental Health Awareness Month in May as part of Each Mind Matters. The partnership will provide community education throughout the library branches of Butte County. Join us in learning about mental health and local efforts to decrease stigma and increase mental health.
Join us on May 19th, from 1:00-2:00PM for a presentation by Jennifer Carvalho and Ed Sprague to learn about addiction as a disease, and to understand the symptoms, strategies for treatment, and our responsibility to reduce the stigma associated with this condition.
