Chico Library Mental Health Presentation
This is one of a series of events scheduled to take place at the Chico Library during Mental Health Awareness Month.
The Butte County Department of Behavioral Health, The Butte county Library, and members of Butte County’s Care Enough To Act (CETA) Task Force are promoting Mental Health Awareness Month in May as part of Each Mind Matters. The partnership will provide community education throughout the library branches of Butte County. Join us in learning about mental health and local efforts to decrease stigma and increase mental health.
Join us on May 26th, from 1:00-2:30PM for a presentation by Jason Tate and Ril Wrestler to learn about discrimination against those experiencing mental health challenges and how Peer Support is helping to dispel the stigma.
