5th Annual Pasadena Mental Health Day
Pasadena Mental Health Day is an annual event organized for the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley community, with the mission of de-stigmatizing mental illness and increasing awareness regarding mental health issues that affect our community and the resources available to meet its mental health needs.
This year’s event will take place on the campus of Pasadena City College, from 10AM-2PM, and will include workshops, activities, and a resource fair. Workshops will provide information on stress management, how to navigate the mental health system (including how to find supportive resources), and a presentation to help gain an understanding of the realities of living with mental illness. The resource fair will include representation from community organizations (including Soultenders) that provide mental health services and substance abuse treatment in the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley area. All activities and workshops are free to the public.
If you have been thinking about reaching out for help but felt lost about where to start or confused about the process of therapy, treatment providers will be on-site to help. If you have been stressed because of work, family, or both, come attend the stress management workshop and learn some practical tools to help manage your daily stress and develop healthier coping habits.
