12th Annual Disability Capitol Action Day
Join us at the State Capitol on Wednesday, May 20th for the 12th Annual Disability Capitol Action Day! DCAD is an annual event coordinated by The Disability Action Coalition as an opportunity for people of cross disabilities and their allies to come together in solidarity for learning, resources, unity, and to share the current issues that affect their daily lives in California. This is one of the nation’s largest and most diverse days of cross disability unity and action.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the theme for this year’s event will be “ADA- Today, Tomorrow, Forever!“. The day will feature music, live speakers, and dozens of exhibitors highlighting services and resources from across the state. Come out for this educational and empowering day of fun and show your support for Californians with disabilities!
