More Mental Health Matters Highlights

With plenty of fun events and great social media activity, we kept up the lime green spirit during the third week of Mental Health Matters Month 2017! Here are some of our favorite moments from the third week of May.

EMM at the San Francisco Giants

Last Wednesday, May 17, Each Mind Matters took over the Community Clubhouse at AT&T Park during the Giants vs. Dodgers game. Baseball fans who stopped by the booth got special EMM baseball stress balls and tried their luck at the prize wheel.

We also launched the latest PSA during the second inning. Take a look and see which celebrities are lending their voices to California’s Mental Health Movement.

Hannah Hart Inspires a Community with Her Story

Each Mind Matters mini-grantee, Congregation Rodef Sholom in San Rafael, hosted author and YouTube star Hannah Hart for her talk “You Can’t Fight It Alone: Speaking Up About Mental Health.” The venue was filled and led to an evening of important conversations. Thank you to Hannah for speaking up about mental health and sharing your story!

Social Media Roundup

Californians continue to paint the state lime green. Keep up the good work!

And a special shout out to our Each Mind Matters supporter from Indiana, Patty, who shared her lime green selfie with us!

There is still one week left in Mental Health Matters Month! Keep posting your lime green photos and use the hashtags #EachMindMatters and #MillionsLikeMe so we can share them. Browse through our toolkit if you need ideas or resources!
